Kelsi!

I am a Somatic Wellness Coach and Yoga Instructor from Seattle, Washington.

I have a deep passion for supporting and guiding teenagers and adults in building a trusting relationship with themselves through connecting to their overall wellbeing, inner truth, and creating a life that feels aligned with who they are.

I create a safe and encouraging space where I can be a supportive cheerleader and a source of accountability as they move through their wellness and self-discovery journey.

After the ending of a five and a half year relationship, feeling emotionally and physically drained, I slowly but surely started to take my well-being much more seriously.

The seeds that I planted towards self-care, months before ending the relationship, supported me in taking further action. I started to become more consistent, learning about myself through the process of taking care of my physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing. 

As a first step, I found a yoga instructor on YouTube and dedicated myself to the practice of yoga.

Months later, I found a meditation teacher, on Instagram, who opened my eyes to the world of personal growth and healing. 

I took her 10-day self-love challenge which profoundly changed the way I connected with myself. I also took her 66-day meditation course and journaling master class.

I started to learn to heal through the movement of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, journaling, and ecstatic dance.

I have now been practicing yoga for the past five years. I attended a teacher’s training program in Thailand where I obtained my 200-hour Yoga teaching certification.

I have been meditating and journaling for over four years now, and dancing for the last two years, wow time really flies!

Yoga, meditation and dance are based on strengthening the mind/body connection. These disciplines have helped create a space for me to realize that when there is a sense of disconnection from my body, when I notice the mind is overthinking, overwhelmed, stressed or anxious, these tools allow me to create a space where I can, once again, experience being fully present in my body.

When I feel truly connected, I realize that I am more than a body, I am limitless and expansive.

I am not the job, the thoughts, the emotions, the anxiety, the name, or the body.

I have learned that I am the awareness observing this human experience and using these tools to support myself in coming back home to my truest self.

Using these tools, I am able to reconnect with my intuition which supports me in knowing what feels aligned (that feeling of YES! that feels good or NO! that does not)

This has supported me in developing a deeper and more trusting relationship with myself.

I use these tools to calm the mind, to go inward where I become connected to the deeper essence of my being. 

These tools have supported me in coming to the realization there is so much more to life than what is shown externally in the physical realm where we are living.

I have noticed within myself that when I do not use the tools, I start to feel overwhelmed and it becomes very challenging for me to focus. Things feel more stressful, I feel disconnected from my body, intuition and when things feel out of my control I try to bring them back into my control.

This has brought me the opportunity to realize that when things appear to not be in my control or are overwhelming, that’s when the practice of becoming aware, accepting, letting go and moving through this discomfort helps to bring me back into alignment.

The reason I am sharing all of this with you is because I am beyond grateful for these tools that support the calming of my mind, deepen the connection to my body, intuition, and my wellbeing.
